"We absolutely loved having Lindsay in our district for Reading Month! She came to do a 3-5 grade assembly and then she did shorter grade level visits for TK-2 grade. She was extremely knowledgeable, kept the kids engaged, and taught the kids what it is like being an author and the process of getting a book made. Her digital presentation was beautiful and engaging as well!
For the assembly, the kids were also able to practice being authors and illustrators through a writing workshop experience. They loved being a part of the assembly and showing Lindsay their ideas! Numerous teachers mentioned how they loved the assembly and author visits and especially loved how engaged their students were the entire time!
